Gist Of My Calling

We are two brothers and a sister born to highly devoted Christian parents. I am Hanoch, Joshua my brother, and my sister Deena. We lost our parents in our childhood. We were brought up in a Christian orphanage. The orphanage directors were running a leper home and hospital. There I used to stare at the suffering leper patients and my heart was deeply shaken and my spirit was crushed on seeing their terrible suffering. They might have siblings/parents etc., but no one came to care for them. I had two friends, one was a Hindu and the other was Muslim. They had to have some money while I was penniless. With their help, I used to visit leper patients and distributed loaves of bread. God began stirring me up to serve them then I recognized it was a call from God.

" BEFORE I FORMED THEE IN THE BELLY I KNEW THEE, AND BEFORE THOU CAMEST FORTH OUT OF THE WOMB I SANCTIFIED THEE, AND I ORDAINED THEE A PROPHET UNTO NATIONS"[Jeremiah 1:5]

I was privileged to obtain a diploma in the Paramedical course of leprosy. God also blessed me with a theological degree. My brother is in the pastoral ministry and my sister serving as a nurse. God has chosen me to serve the untouchables and downtrodden such as lepers, slums, and tribals through medicine and preaching the gospel. Since then God uses me to serve them physically and spiritually. In this spiritual pilgrimage, there are obstacles, trials, and temptations but the Lord who is righteous and faithful lets me overcome those afflictions.
